Education
Dr. Ghorab received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from The George Washington University in Washington, DC, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
As a second year undergraduate student, she was accepted into GW’s highly competitive Early Selection Program, thus ensuring early admission to the GW School of Medicine.
She obtained her medical degree in 2014 with induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society in recognition of her outstanding academic performance.
Training
After completing her medical education in DC, Dr. Ghorab ventured westward to Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona for her residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
She then went on to complete an esteemed Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship to further hone in her surgical skills and knowledge.

Afghan Roots
Dr. Saba Ghorab was born in Kabul, Afghanistan, and emigrated to the United States with her family when she was eight years old. She grew up in Northern Virginia, where most of her family still lives. As an Afghan, hospitality has been central to her upbringing. She hopes to extend the same warm welcome to every patient that walks through the door.
Artistic
Dr. Ghorab developed a keen interest in art from a young age, and this was instrumental in her decision to pursue a career in facial plastic surgery. Her more creative side was fostered by her dad, who is an artist himself.
She appreciates the ways in which plastic surgery integrates the creativity and dexterity of art with the medical and anatomical intricacies of the human body.
Humanitarian
International humanitarian work is near and dear to Dr. Ghorab’s heart. She has provided specialized surgical care to numerous communities in Haiti, Peru, Honduras, Belize, and more. These experiences have taught her invaluable lessons about perseverance, compassion, and the importance of global outreach. She is steadfast in her commitment to serving underprivileged communities and hopes to continue her efforts for years to come.
Good Natured
Dr. Ghorab loves all things nature and the great outdoors – hiking, backpacking, camping, and more! She feels best when leading an active lifestyle. After a hiking or backpacking trip, she appreciates a homemade meal with fresh, healthy ingredients followed by all the sugary treats she can get.
Arizona Sunsets
It was during her residency when Dr. Ghorab fell in love with the community and lifestyle of the Southwest. This was influential in her decision to return to the Valley and set up her solo practice. Her favorite things about being in Arizona are the open skies and stunning sunsets!
